Privacy notice

Draft for legal review

This notice describes the current contact flow. Controller details, legal basis, retention periods, processor terms and any international transfer safeguards must be confirmed before public launch.

Who is responsible?

The final controller identity and address will be added before public launch. Privacy questions can currently be sent to contact@cortexalabs.de.

Contact and pilot inquiries

When you submit the contact form, we process your name, work email, company, role, selected inquiry topic and message to review and respond to your request. The information is stored in the website's protected contact database. A one-way hash derived from the submitting network address is stored temporarily for abuse prevention; the raw address is not placed in the inquiry record.

Purpose and legal basis

We use inquiry data only to communicate with you, assess a potential pilot or collaboration, and protect the form from misuse. The applicable legal bases under the GDPR—such as steps taken at your request before entering a contract and legitimate interests—must be confirmed with legal counsel before launch.

Recipients, hosting and transfers

Data may be processed by service providers that operate the website and its database on our behalf. The final processor list, processing locations and transfer safeguards will be documented before public launch. We do not use inquiry data for third-party advertising.

Retention

Inquiry data will be retained only as long as needed to respond, evaluate the requested relationship, meet legal obligations or handle disputes. A concrete deletion schedule will be finalized before launch.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, the GDPR may give you rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, obtain data portability, withdraw consent, and complain to a competent supervisory authority. Contact us at contact@cortexalabs.de to exercise a right.

Analytics and tracking

The website records a small set of first-party conversion events—such as pilot CTA, navigation, LinkedIn and form interactions—as daily aggregate counts. These events contain no cookies, persistent identifiers, form content, network address or cross-site profile, and are not sent to advertising platforms. Because no non-essential cookies or third-party tracking are used, the current site does not display a consent banner. This approach should be reviewed again if the analytics technology changes.
